Mac OS X Gets First Virus


Apple’s Mac OS X, touted to be a safe alternative to Windows operating system, now has the dubious distinction of being attacked by a virus. Called Leap-A, the first Mac OS X virus infects Mac computers running on OS X 10.4 through the iChat instant messaging application. Anti-virus company Sophos was the first to identify the virus.
